I am really sorry I have not posted in a while. It has been one thing after another. My 2 year old son broke his arm last week and we just moved this week. My scrapbook stuff has been packed away, but as we slowly start to unpack, I will be able to create a bit more. Just a couple reminders, the new Idea Book comes out September 1st. Oh how I wish I could take credit for this card, but I can’t. The fabulous Tresa Black did a great tutorial on how to make this card, including the faux stitching (yes, that stitching is not real) and the pretty lollipop flower. You can watch the video here http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/8203162. It is an hour long, but so worth it. I was also inspired by Aaron Brown for part of this card. I absolutely love how this turned out, and I’m addicted to the faux stitching now. Remember you can only do this technique on CTMH white core cardstock.

I am trying to make it a goal to use up as many of my scraps as I can before I cut into a new piece of paper. Like I said in an early post, we are getting ready for a craft show and I have done pretty well making cards with just my scrap paper!! Here are some of the cards I came up with. I really like how they turned out.
Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend. Today is my husband and I’s 5th wedding anniversary!!! He is working tonight, so we are celebrating tomorrow night. We are going to the melting pot for dinner and then we are going to go and see Knight and Day!! I can’t wait!!

Happy 4th of July everyone!! I hope you are all having a FUN and SAFE weekend!! We are taking Conner to see Toy Story 3 tonight. I just don’t want to deal with downtown to go see fireworks. I’m sure we will see some on our way home tonight!! This is a layout I did a few years ago at my up line, Crystal’s class. I still have yet to put pictures on it, but I love the look of this layout.
